We are looking for a candidate with the experience and ability to work as part of a busy team in the Operations Office, handling a wide variety of tasks

Job Specific Duties :

  • Processing spare parts for despatch both UK and global airports via supplier portals
  • Liaising with suppliers to obtain transport quotations
  • Liaising with suppliers to make transportation bookings
  • Assisting with export arrangements for the preparation of export documentation and declarations through the Chamber of Commerce e-cert portal. Raising Certificates of Origin, Arab Certificates of Origin, EUR1, Carnets and all other associated documentation specific to the Country of entry
  • Organise visas, flights, accommodation, airport transfers and car hire as necessary
  • Any operational ad hoc duties deemed necessary by departmental line Manager

  • Accuracy and attention to detail is essential

  • Competent in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel)
  • Ability to multi task within a busy office environment
  • Basic knowledge of Sage (preferred but not essential as full training will be provided)
  • Good time management with the ability to prioritise tasks, ensuring that deadlines are achieved
  • Knowledge of export protocols advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided

Required Capabilities:

  • Good standard of education evidenced by GCSE’s in English/Maths or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 year’s experience working in a busy office environment with a strong customer service ethos

Role Specific Information:

  • Hours: 39.5 hours per week (09.00 - 17.00 Monday – Thursday, 09.00 to 16.00 Friday)
  • Salary £25,000 to £30,000 per annum dependent on experience and qualifications
