Aircraft Door Canopy

  • Works as an extension to the roof options, the ADC has an aluminium frame with polycarbonate panels.
  • Main canopy extends electrically by the push of a button controlled at the top of the ramp.
  • In conjunction with Fully Enclosed Roof, provides a covered walkway right up to the aircraft door.

Extending Docking Platform

  • This option means ramp does not need to touch aircraft – no-touch policy.
  • Ramp is stopped approx. 10 inches away from the aircraft and platform is electronically extended to aircraft.
  • Standard fit on the International model & all IATA AHM units.

LED Walkway Lighting

  • A Health & Safety must for night-time operations. Provides walkway lighting for the entire length of ramp.
  • Powered from an independent circuit to main ramp drive – if accidently left on main ramp power is not affected.
  • A separate solar panel charges the system.
  • Included as standard on IATA AHM models.

Proximity Sensor

  • Proximity sensor fitted on underside of top platform.
  • If the ramp is driven too quickly towards an aircraft, at a pre-set distance it automatically cuts the power to reduce risk of aircraft damage.
  • Sensitivity distance can be adjusted if required
  • Fitted as standard on IATA AHM models.

Remote Control Steering

  • Standard models are driven from tow bar. RCS option allows user to control all functions from connected remote without having to walk under aircraft.
  • Two-speed control enables slow and fast speed
  • Connected to the ramp by chord so no risk of losing the control.

Stair Bridging Ramp

  • Bridges the gap between Aviramp & aircraft when built in doorway steps prevent direct connection.
  • Manufactured from aluminium with our trusted slip-resistant flooring, aluminium handrails and dilite side panels.

Comprehensive Support and Training for Safe Operations

Aviramp provides comprehensive maintenance plans and service level agreements for enhanced customer support. Training is mandatory with every purchase for safety reasons and we also offer refresher sessions for new personnel.
several airport jet bridges are stacked and not currently in use. They are positioned on the tarmac, prepared to be deployed to connect with aircraft for passenger boarding and disembarking. This setup indicates readiness for airport operations, possibly during a period of low activity or before scheduled flights.
