Aviramp had a night to remember at the Shropshire Business Awards – scooping two prestigious titles. 

We took home both the Outstanding Business Growth and Trailblazer Innovation awards at the glittering Shropshire Chamber event on Friday night. 

Chief executive and company founder Graham Corfield said the award was a tribute to the skill and commitment of the entire Aviramp team. 

“We’re tremendously proud to have our home in Telford so to win two awards from the Shropshire Chamber is very special. 

“The level of competition in both categories was exceptional and I’d like to congratulate all the winners on the night – and all those businesses which were shortlisted – for their fantastic achievements. 

“It’s been a whirlwind few weeks for us, with these latest awards coming just after we were named in The Manufacturer top 100 and one of our ramps was used by US veterans returning to northern France for commemorations to mark the 81st anniversary of D-Day. 

“All our success is down to the fantastic team we have working for us and their unwavering commitment to making our step-free ramps the global leader in the aviation sector. 

“I know they enjoyed a fantastic night of celebration after the Shropshire Chamber event and all I can say is that it was thoroughly deserved.” 

The Shropshire Chamber awards this year celebrated their 25th anniversary with a spectacular night themed around The Greatest Showman. More than 600 people from across Shropshire and Telford attended the event at Telford International Centre.
