Aviramp plays part in D-Day commemorations

Aviramp’s CEO Graham Corfield had the huge privilege of being invited to BAE Systems in Warton to help pay tribute to some of the remarkable survivors of D-Day as they flew off to France for the official commemoration events to mark the 80th anniversary of the Allied landings.

Five veterans flew out of the base for the events in northern France – and were given a guard of honour as they boarded their plane.

Aviramp was honoured to provide the ramp which helped the anniversary party board their plane and to play our small part in helping the day go so smoothly. To share some time with these incredible men was something we will never forget.

Our huge thanks to everyone at BAE Systems who organised the event and our lasting gratitude to the five veterans and all their colleagues who were part of the D-Day landings.

We owe them everything.
