Role overview

We are looking for a candidate with the experience and ability to load and unload containers, build / install equipment, ensure proper and timely installation for our customers and handle all aspects of the installation process including customer expectations.

These roles occasionally require travel outside of the UK to International destinations intermittently throughout the year. Candidates would be expected to have a valid passport to enable international travel and adhere to any country specific terms of entry, e.g COVID vaccinations, local VISA’s, and travel vaccinations. Whilst in the UK candidates would be expected to perform duties within our factory to ensure the completion, assembly and shipping preparation of ramps.

Hours: 39.5 hours per week (07.30 to 16.00 Monday – Thursday, 07.30 to 15.30 Friday)

Key responsibilities

  • Loading / unloading of ramps into containers
  • Travelling to installation locations
  • Complete full installation and fitting of ramps at customer locations worldwide
  • Completion of ‘pre delivery inspection’ documentation whilst keeping customer / head office informed of build progress
  • Testing functionality and performance of ramp once installation is complete
  • Provide training to customer on equipment access if required
  • Ensuring that you follow company safety procedures at all times and that all quality standards are fully met

Essential skills and qualifications

  • Experience or knowledge of working in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to travel and be away from home for up to 6 months of the year and adapt to multiple time zones. (Please note that travel will be on a job by job commissioned basis and this post is not for a continual 6 month role in one international location)
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Experience of and ability to meet deadlines whilst following instructional processes and procedures
  • Experience of working with tools and machinery such as power tools and hand tools
  • Experience and ability to manage customer expectations and the ability to represent the company to a high standard
  • Fork lift licence would be of benefit but is not a requirement.
  • Experience of hydraulic and electronic equipment would be a benefit but is not a requirement
  • Full driving licence
