Making air travel accessible is in our DNA. It’s what our ramps are designed for and why this company exists.
Our chief executive Graham Corfield has been saying for years that our industry must do more to improve air travel for all passengers.
And we’ve been practising what we preach through our world-leading ramps, which allow passengers with reduced or restricted mobility the chance to get on and off their flights in comfort, safety and with dignity.
Gone are the days of disabled passengers being segregated because they couldn’t get up the steps to their flight. With Aviramp, everyone can travel together.
Our step-free non-slip ramps all have a gentle slope which is ideal for wheelchairs and anyone with reduced mobility. And they also happen to be safer for all passengers.
The ramps are so successful that there are now more than 850 in use across the world – with more orders coming in by the day.
But it’s not just through our ramps that we demonstrate our commitment to accessibility for all passengers.
We’ll shortly be unveiling our next generation mobile chair lifter, which will remove the need for manual lifting of wheelchairs onto aircraft. By doing so, it will dramatically reduce damage to mobility aids, such as wheelchairs and scooters, during transit.
